Timothy Peter Van Berkel (born June 29, 1984, Albury is an Australian triathlete and three time winner of the Long Distance Triathlon (2008, Busselton, 2010 and 2011 in Copenhagen).

Berkel started his first triathlon in 2001 and 2007, a long distant triathlon (swimming for 3.86 km, cycling for 180.2 km and running for 42.2 km). Nicknames that he goes by include "Berkel" or "Berky". His coach is Grant Giles.
Berkel currently lives in Port Macquarie, Australia and is engaged to Belinda Coates.
